There is only one reason
BuckeyeLegends.com was created:
WE BLEED SCARLET and GRAY!
The start came at a photo shoot for the new ownership of the
Columbus Destroyers when Chris Speilman, Jim Lachey and Jim
Karsatos were waiting for the photographer to get the right light.
They were tossing around ideas for the easiest ways to provide a
cool place for teammates to reconnect, give the fans some
nostalgia, support our Alma Mater, give back to our community, and
have a blast doing it.

A website seemed to be the best of
all worlds. The “Legends” could have their own area to tell
over-exaggerated stories, lie about their current weight, find out
who’s doing what and more importantly support each other when it
really counts. Lady Bucks and the guys have shared many of the same
highs and lows but the strength they gained together will be there
forever. So may be the lack of brain cells they lost both on and
off the playing field.
The Buckeye faithful can catch up with some of their favorites
players and maybe even shoot the breeze with people they never
thought they would meet. They can find stuff to fill that “basement
shrine” that they only show to true fans or to make UM fans cringe.
They will eventually find the stat on how many yards Mike Key
took the interception back against Texas A&M before he
collapsed in the end zone or how long “the drive” was against
Arizona St. led by Joe Germaine that made the Snake slither away.
Throw in a couple contests, trivia and shazaam, we've got Buckeye
Central.
Enjoy BuckeyeLegends.com!
